Don’t wait to congratulate yourself!

Whew! We made it through the first 33 days of 2020!  How is the progress coming along with your goals and vision?   My prayer is that you have been able to make some progress with your New Year Goals, Resolutions and Vision Boards.  Regardless of what you have committed to do this year, don’t allow anything to stand in the way of you reaching those goals.  If you are like me, you probably have a few goals that you’ve carried from 2019 into 2020.  And that’s fine.  Don’t be too hard on yourself.  Be grateful for another opportunity to complete it.   Try a different method this year.  Do a little research about the goals you are trying to reach and the vision you want to see manifested.  Pray often, seeking God for direction.  Once you have gained clarity, plan your work in small attainable steps.  Yes, you will have to  “put in work”.  Don’t be deceived in to thinking it will be easy.  It may be difficult and it may take longer than you anticipate, but keep working on it.   Remember to stay consistent and persistent about achieving your goals.  Celebrate often!  Don’t wait to congratulate yourself.  The fact that you have goals and a vision are worth celebrating.    I celebrate you!  So many times we get caught up on what has not been done and we forget to celebrate what has.  This year try building on the progress you make, no matter how small, build on it and celebrate it!  If you complete 3 out of 5 tasks, celebrate the 3, knowing you are more than halfway there.  Take the 2 remaining tasks forward into the new week and complete them.  Don’t get stuck in defeat and discouragement.

God is so Gracious, he has allowed us to see a new year and to make it through the first month of the 2020! We owe it to HIM to reach our goals and be fully prepared to see the vision manifested this year.  Take those visions off the board and bring them to life.

Remember these important steps as you move forward, conquer and celebrate!!

    • Plan your work in small attainable steps.  Be reasonable with yourself and your ability.
    • Be consistent and persistent in your work.
    • Don’t wait to congratulate yourself for every step you accomplish.

Let’s make it happen this year!

Trust the Process and Plan of God!!!!

One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

In short, this is a promise that says if I trust God, and not try to figure it out on my own, He will direct me. I know what you are thinking, easier said than done…But if you remember these three things, it will help you trust the Process and Plan of God.

*Trust Him wholeheartedly
The Webster’s dictionary actually defines the word trust as- assured reliance on the character, ability, strength or truth in someone or something. One in which confidence is placed. It is imperative that we trust God, wholeheartedly, not half-heartedly, or only in times of need or challenge. But willingly place our confidence in Him. And once we place our trust in Him, leave it there.
Scripture also encourages us to trust in the One that never changes- and that is God.
*Acknowledge that we need Him
We must understand that we are incapable of effectively directing our lives alone. There are several sources and resoures that would liken themselves as the guiding force of our life. Some have the potential to guide us to destruction. We have the potential to continue to make all kinds of mistakes and missteps. Therefore,we must acknowledge that we need God daily. We need him to protect and guide us every second of every day. If we only give God credit some of the time we are saying to Him that we only need Him sometimes or not at all. How many of you think that you can make it without God’s help? If so, how is that working for you?
*Get direction for your life
This is a promise from God. He Keeps His word!!! It would be much easier for you to live life confidently knowing that God is directing you.
When we trust and acknowledge Him, we are then positioned to receive direction from Him.
Trust the Process of His Plan, It’s one that Promises to Prosper You!!!!

That’s A WIN,WIN!!!

Be an Overcomer!!!!

Life can seem hard and most of us are getting through life by just coping. When a situation arises in our life that makes us unhappy or uncomfortable, we just cope with it. Coping means to “struggle or deal with” with some degree of success. But God wants us to do more than just deal with our circumstances. He wants us to overcome them Victoriously. He says-These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33NKJV

Here are three ways we can be an Overcomer:

* Tap into our God-given power! He has given us everything we need to overcome every negative situation in our life. We have to believe that we have the power and we can overcome them!
* Live according to His Plan! If we are really honest with ourselves, most of the things that we are dealing with are because of the poor choices we have made. Not heeding that still, small voice that says to us “that’s not a good decision”. Simple disobedience can cause us to be powerless.
* Expect to be victorious! We all face tough times and trials but if we expect victory over the situation, the way we approach the situation changes! We must begin with the WIN on our mind!!

God wants us to live a victorious life…He wants us to WIN!!

Purpose

christopher-sardegna-1735

What do you think of when you hear the word “PURPOSE”

Purpose is defined as the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

Now, what’s the first thought that comes to your mind when you think of your Purpose? Does your Initial thought come in the form of a question? Does your initial thought provoke uneasy feelings?

Think about it for a moment. Do you know why you were created? Do you know your purpose?

God has a purpose for all of us! He had a specific purpose in mind when He created us. The scripture says, For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.(Ephesians 2:10)

Three things are clear in this scripture. 1. We are created as the workmanship of God, 2. We are Created for Good Works and 3. It was ordained that we should walk in them before we were created.

Many people live without purpose or lack discovery of their purpose because they don’t have a relationship with the One who created them.

Mark Twain wrote, “The two most important days in the life are the day you are born and the day you discover why.”

Our purpose is not something in life we decide to do, rather it is chosen by God. I can’t tell how much time and opportunity I have squandered doing things I thought were my destined future. I soon discovered that although I looked at them as wasted time and miss opportunities, I am certain that all them have been connected to ultimately guide me to my God-given Purpose.
